A Massachusetts man will soon have a gorgeous new ride after winning big on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Miguel Maldonado of Lawrence has won the first $1 million grand prize in the new “Ruby Mine 50X” fast ticket game.
Maldonado chose the cash option for his prize, receiving a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He stated that he intended to use the winnings to buy a Ford Bronco.
The winning ticket was purchased at E Market, 370 Broadway St., Lawrence. The retailer receives a $10,000 bonus for selling this ticket.
The “Ruby Mine 50X” instant ticket also includes two additional $1 million instant grand prize drawings.
