A woman was apprehended with a stolen vehicle and over 20 stolen identification cards, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Corporal Perez of Constable Mark Herman’s Office performed a traffic stop on the stolen car in the 21900 block of Aldine Westfield Road.
During the investigation, Deputy Montiel discovered over 20 identification cards belonging to several individuals inside the vehicle. According to the department, the victims verified that they had not authorized anyone to possess their IDs.
The female suspect had three outstanding felony warrants for possession of a mailbox key, mail theft, and possession of a prohibited narcotic. Our deputies are still attentive in protecting our community from identity theft and fraud-related offenses. “This arrest demonstrates the value of proactive policing and our commitment to holding offenders accountable,” the department noted.
