Cincinnati police are investigating after a body was discovered near Washington Park on Monday evening.
Police were dispatched near Washington Park at 5:40 p.m. after scanner traffic indicated “one male down” around 1230 Elm Street.
“Washington Park- 1230 Elm Street, one male down.” “Called states, they’re on the ground level, taking male down through the grates,” scanner traffic reported.
Yellow tape was wrapped around the ground-floor entrance to the parking garage. Officers were seen questioning folks nearby.
According to Cincinnati Assistant Fire Chief Flagler, crews were called when a body was discovered within the garage underneath a grate. The person was pronounced dead on the scene.
