For the second consecutive drawing, two lottery players shared a Powerball jackpot.
After tickets sold in Indiana and Kansas claimed a $143.4 million jackpot on April 29, players in Florida and Texas split a $20 million jackpot on Saturday, May 3, according to the Powerball website.
The Texas jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Leander, Texas, while officials have not yet disclosed the location of Florida’s winning ticket.
Additionally, a $2 million ticket sold in Georgia matched all five white balls and the Powerball in Saturday’s drawing. That stands in contrast to the 62 players who matched the five white balls for $1 million prizes in the May 3 drawing using a unique play style.
The Powerball jackpot will reset to $20 million for the Monday night drawing.
