A man from Central Florida won a lottery prize of $1,000 every week for life.
The Florida Lottery recently announced that Joseph Moss of Orlando won a $1,000 each week for life reward from Cash4Life, a multi-state draw game.
The Orange County winner elected to collect his winnings in one lump sum payment of $1,000,000.
The Central Florida man bought his winning CASH4LIFE ticket at Publix, which is located at 10615 Narcoossee Road in Orlando.
This popular multi-state draw game offered two lifetime prizes: $1,000 a day for life and $1,000 a week for life. Florida is the eighth state to join CASH4LIFE. The Cash4Life Draw game concluded on February 21, 2026. Although Cash4Life is no longer available, the Florida Lottery says winners like Joseph Moss exemplify the game’s life-changing wins.
The Florida Lottery is responsible for more than $49 billion in education funding and sending over 983,000 students to college through the Bright Futures Scholarship Program. The Florida Lottery reinvests 99 percent of its revenue back into the state’s economy through prize payouts, commissions to over 13,550 lottery merchants, and educational transfers. Since 1988, Florida Lottery games have given out over $104.8 billion in prizes, making more than 4,475 millionaires.
