DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Deputies arrested a 39-year-old man Saturday after he allegedly fired multiple shots at them from a hotel room window, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a hotel in the 9700 block of Mason-Montgomery Road for a well-being check involving a man in crisis, the sheriff’s office said.
Around 9:45 p.m., as deputies arrived, a man in a second-floor hotel room opened fire on them. Authorities said he discharged between 12 and 15 rounds.
No one was injured in the shooting, and deputies took the man into custody, the sheriff’s office confirmed.
Officials have not said whether deputies returned fire or detailed how they managed to apprehend him.
Authorities booked Seth Foresman into the Warren County Jail, charging him with improper discharge of a weapon, inducing panic, and weapons while intoxicated.
According to jail records, Foresman is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, May 4.
