A Massachusetts father-to-be could not have received a better gift to welcome his new child into the world.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Dylan Jacobus of Otis has won the “$2,500 a Week for Life” $10 quick ticket game.
Jacobus chose the cash option for his reward, receiving a one-time payment of $2,000,000 (before taxes). He intends to use the winnings to fund his and his pregnant wife’s first child, stating that he “is grateful to have this opportunity to put us in the right direction and set us up for success.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Big Y Express, 330 East Main St., Westfield. The retailer will receive a $26,000 incentive for selling this ticket.
