Three people were arrested for kidnapping a woman in Central Florida.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office apprehended the three suspects during an abduction investigation.
The kidnapping investigation indicated that the woman was contacted by Dalberto Mena Schueg, 35, and Brayan Parada Balboa, 21, who forced her into a car against her will.
Deputies discovered that the perpetrators transferred the woman to a different site in Hillsborough County, where she was assaulted, resulting in apparent injuries. Parada Balboa and Danilo Maturell Coasta, 25, then detained the victim at that spot for several hours.
The victim escaped and sought help.
Deputies arrested the three suspects. Dalberto Mena Schueg faces charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, tampering with a witness, and simple battery (domestic violence). Brayan Parada Balboa was charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment, tampering with witnesses, and simple battery. Danilo Maturell Coasta was accused with false imprisonment.
“This was a violent and deeply concerning incident that put a victim’s life at serious risk, but thanks to the swift response and relentless work of our deputies, those responsible are now in custody,” Chad Chronister, Hillsborough County Sheriff. “Let this be a clear message: if you commit violent acts in our community, you will be caught and held fully accountable. We will continue to stand with victims and make their safety our top concern.”
Local law enforcement officials say the inquiry is still ongoing.
