Police: Man Shot To Death During Argument At South Shore Home

A man was shot after an argument at a South Side home on Sunday morning, according to Chicago police.

The incident occurred around 9:40 a.m. on the 2700-block of East 75th Street in South Shore.

A 28-year-old man was arguing with someone when they pulled out a gun and shot him, according to authorities.

The victim was shot in the chest and transferred to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was declared dead.

The shooter has fled the scene.

Area One detectives are conducting an investigation.

Authorities did not immediately give any details.
