A South Florida pastor was arrested on child rape and molestation charges on Tuesday, and authorities believe he may have victimized others.
According to records, Elie Dorcius, 62, is the pastor of Unity Baptist Church, located at 13001 NW Seventh Ave. in North Miami. He also resides in North Miami.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, a woman came forward to claim that Dorcius raped her when she was five years old and committed various forms of sexual abuse while she was a child.
To prevent identifying Dorcius, Local 10 News does not disclose her relationship with the accuser.
Authorities said he refused to talk to investigators about the claims.
An MDSO representative stated in a news release that “due to his position within the community, detectives believe there may be more victims.”
