2 Texas Lottery players become millionaires after claiming scratch ticket prizes worth a combined $3M

Two Texas Lottery players are enjoying enormous scratch ticket wins totaling $3 million, with winning tickets sold in San Antonio and Denison.

Lottery officials confirmed that a San Antonio individual won a $1 million top prize in the scratch ticket game 200X The Cash. The winning ticket was purchased at Times Market, situated on South Hackberry Street in San Antonio. The winner elected to remain anonymous after accepting the reward.

The Texas Lottery said the retailer that sold the ticket could be eligible for a $10,000 payment through the state’s Retailer Bonus Program, which incentivizes stores that sell top-prize winning tickets.

The $1 million payoff was the second of four possible top prizes in the 200X The Cash game to be claimed thus far. According to lottery organizers, the game offers more than $103 million in total reward money. Players in the game have a one in 3.88 chance of winning any prize, even break-even sums.

Another Texas Resident Claims $2M Prize

In a separate release, lottery officials stated that a Denison resident claimed an even greater scratch ticket win of $2 million.

Joes Mini Mart, situated at 800 West Crawford Street in Denison, sold the winning ticket for the Millionaire’s Club scratch game. Like the San Antonio winner, the Denison resident wanted to stay unknown.

Lottery officials said this was the first of four $2 million top prizes won in the Millionaire’s Club game. The game offers over $175 million in total prizes and has an overall odds of one in 3.54 of winning any reward, including break-even awards.

The shop who sold the $2 million ticket might possibly get a $10,000 incentive under the Texas Lottery shop incentive Program.

The two huge wins join a growing list of high-dollar lottery winners recently won in Texas, as scratch ticket games continue to attract players looking for life-changing awards. While neither winner officially disclosed their plans for the money, both wins immediately elevated the lucky ticket holders to the ranks of the state’s newest millionaires.
