A Mississippi Lottery player won big on Memorial Day night.
According to the Mississippi Lottery Corporation, a Mississippi Match 5 jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at Warrior Express in Pontotoc, Mississippi, and matched all five numbers drawn Monday. The lottery participant earned $750,000.
Mississippi lottery players have 180 days from the drawing date to redeem their wins.
Tuesday night’s Mega Millions jackpot is anticipated to be $311 million, with a cash value of $136.4 million.
