A man was apprehended Thursday in connection with alleged cocaine trafficking and possession in Middletown, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
According to authorities, the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force, or BURN, and the Middletown Police Department executed a search warrant around 8:30 a.m. in the 3700 block of Greenview Drive.
During the search, officials said they discovered around 20 grams of suspected cocaine and $2,260 in cash. Authorities say the suspected cocaine field test was positive.
The sheriff’s office identified the suspect as Andre Snow, 56. He was booked into Middletown City Jail.
Snow is charged with cocaine trafficking and possession, both third-degree felonies. Authorities said that additional charges are pending.
Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones stated that drug dealers “poison our communities and destroy lives” and warned drug traffickers that they will face consequences in Butler County.
The investigation is underway.
