Two women were taken to a local hospital following a shooting in northeast D.C. on Friday afternoon.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 4200 block of Blaine Street shortly after noon. When police came, they found two ladies with gunshot wounds. The women were conscious when taken to the hospital, and they are expected to recover, according to authorities.
MPD officers are searching for a black GMC Yukon XL driven by a woman wearing a brown baseball cap.
