CINCINNATI — Officials have delayed several ramp closures tied to the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project on the Ohio side.
The closures, which were originally set to begin this week, have been temporarily postponed.
Construction crews had planned to close the Interstate 71 northbound ramp to Second Street, the U.S. 50 ramp to Gest Street, and one lane of Second Street this week.
Officials have not given a reason for the delay and said they are working to determine new start dates for the closures.
Under the current schedule, the U.S. 50 ramp to Gest Street will close permanently, while the Interstate 71 northbound ramp to Second Street will remain closed until fall 2028.
Second Street will also be reduced to a single lane between the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge and Elm Street through next spring.
