A recent scratch-ticket player became a billionaire after visiting a Massachusetts watering hole.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Joey’s Nominee Trust of Pittsfield won a $4 million win in the “100X” $10 quick ticket game.
The trust, represented by trustee John Martin, chose to receive its award in the form of a single payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes).
The winning ticket was purchased at Bucky’s Tavern, 25 Consolati Way, Lee. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for selling this ticket.
100X has one $4,000,000 prize and three $1,000,000 prizes left.
