Kissimmee police are investigating the discovery of a body behind a shopping plaza late Wednesday night.
Officers were dispatched to Plaza del Sol at Vine Street and North Hoagland Boulevard shortly before 11 p.m. When they arrived, they discovered someone behind the Ross store. The person was pronounced dead on the scene.
Officers closed up much of the parking area for many hours while they investigated. Evidence markers were evident on the ground, and officers moved in and out of the premises all night. The video from the area shows a significant police response that lasted for hours before the scene was cleared.
The age and gender of the individual discovered have not been revealed.
