Skeletal remains discovered in Cincinnati neighborhood

Cincinnati police are investigating after skeletal human remains were discovered on Wednesday near West Price Hill.

The remains were discovered in a rural location off Minion Avenue, according to Cincinnati Police spokesperson Brad Underwood.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office stated that the bones are skeletal, and investigators have yet to identify whether they belong to a man or a woman.

A woman resident reported long-standing issues on the roadway.

This material has startled me a little, but not a lot, given all that has happened here. We couldn’t even get a light or anything else clipped away. If they do that, perhaps they should place a camera down there. “Perhaps none of this would happen,” remarked neighbor Alta Monhollen.

Underwood stated that investigators will first try to identify the person using dental records. If that fails, authorities will do DNA testing to determine the individual’s identify.

No new information regarding the bodies or the circumstances surrounding their discovery has been revealed.
