3 California ticketholders win big prizes in Powerball

The massive Powerball prize is growing much larger! No ticket matched all six winning numbers in last night’s draw. However, some people had five of the lucky numbers. According to the California Lottery, three of the big-money tickets were purchased in the Golden State and are valued at $809,204 each.

One of the big-money Powerball tickets was purchased in the Southland at the Chevron station in Los Angeles, located at 11951 West Olympic Boulevard. A second location in Fresno County may be found at the La Buena Market, 221 East Helen Ave, Reedley. And a third in the East Bay, at a Shell station at 6750 Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton.

Three additional Powerball tickets with five of the winning numbers from the July 31 draw were purchased in Virginia, Maryland, and Texas. Here are the winning numbers: 6, 17, 27, 48, 50, and Powerball 5. Meanwhile, the unclaimed $707 million prize has been rolled over to $748 million for the next draw, which is tomorrow, Monday, August 3.
