An investigation is underway after two people were discovered deceased in a Wilkinsburg residence.
According to the Allegheny County Police Department, the deceased man and woman were discovered at a residence on Franklin Avenue on Monday afternoon.
Police who found the murdered individuals also discovered two living children, a three-year-old and a one-year-old.
The adults were last seen on Friday, and authorities believe they perished on the same day. There was no evidence of trauma on their bodies.
The cause and manner of their deaths remain unknown.
Both children were brought to an area hospital for evaluation before being released to Allegheny County CYF.
