A woman pled guilty on Thursday, July 30, to bank theft.
According to the Eastern District of Louisiana, on February 4, 34-year-old Alexa Marie Braud entered a credit union in Gretna, where she worked as a bank manager, and stole $185,000.
Braud faces a maximum of ten years in jail, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release. Sentencing is planned for October 22.
