Four people have been apprehended in connection with a series of chain-snatching robberies in numerous Southern California jurisdictions, authorities said Sunday.
The suspects were linked to at least nine robberies following investigations by the Monterey Park, Pasadena, Glendale, and Arcadia police departments.
Authorities did not say where or when the individual robberies happened.
As part of the investigation, Monterey Park police detectives and SWAT officers conducted search warrants at four sites, with assistance from other agencies.
Three adults and one juvenile were ultimately apprehended. Their identities, ages, and any charges they may face were not immediately disclosed.
The Monterey Park Police Department tweeted photos of heavily outfitted cops gathered around police vehicles during the operation.
Police did not say whether any stolen items was recovered or what happened during the crimes.
The investigation included cases from multiple jurisdictions.
