A 39-year-old Big Coppitt Key man identified as a member of the Pagan Motorcycle Club was detained Saturday night after a traffic check in the Florida Keys.
On August 8, 2026, about 8:56 p.m., Monroe County Deputies stopped Aaron Slater near Mile Marker 90 while he was riding his motorcycle. Slater was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
According to officials, Slater has received many past tickets for the same conduct, and his license was most recently suspended for unpaid traffic fees. Following Slater’s arrest, deputies escorted him to jail.
