A 28-year-old man was detained on various felony drug counts, including allegedly distributing controlled dangerous narcotics near a school and public property.
Authorities identified the suspect as Darnell Harmon, 28, who was apprehended on August 5.
Harmon is charged with two charges of possession of a Schedule I, II, III, or IV prohibited dangerous substance, as well as a number of suspected drug distribution offenses.
School zone, public property charges filed
Harmon is charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin or cocaine weighing less than one-half ounce, as well as possession with intent to distribute more than one ounce but less than five pounds of marijuana, or more than five grams but less than one pound of hashish.
He is also charged with two counts of distributing a controlled hazardous substance on or near school grounds, as well as two charges of possessing with intent to distribute within 500 feet of certain public property.
Harmon is also charged with wandering or prowling to obtain or sell a controlled dangerous narcotic.
According to public records, this is Harmon’s fourth arrest in the last two years.
Court proceedings were not readily available. All charges are allegations, and Harmon is deemed innocent until proven guilty in court.
