A man was apprehended at O’Hare on Sunday morning after allegedly stabbing a woman to death in Avondale.
Ankur Patel, 31, is charged with first-degree murder and was arrested at O’Hare about 11:10 a.m. by the Chicago Police Department’s homicide investigation support team.
He is accused of stabbing a 32-year-old woman to death in the 4800 block of North Avers around nine hours ago.
The link between them is unknown at this time, although CPD stated that they lived in the same block.
A detention hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
