One man was killed, and four others were injured in a southeast Houston shooting overnight Saturday, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting occurred in the parking lot of a gas station on Cullen Boulevard known colloquially as “Club Chevron,” where people meet overnight to smoke and drink.
Police stated when they arrived, they spotted hundreds of people in the parking lot and heard two shooters.
According to officers, one man was fatally shot, at least two others were shot and injured, and one man was beaten up throughout the incident. Investigators stated they are still looking into how the fifth victim was hurt.
Investigators stated that they do not have a suspect description but are waiting for businesses to open so they may analyze CCTV footage.
