Vermont State Police detained a man early Thursday after a vehicle struck with a home and the driver left the scene.

At 12:25 a.m., police received a report that a vehicle had driven into the driveway and struck a home at 899 South Bayley Hazen Road.

The residents of the household were not wounded.

The vehicle left the area before troopers arrived.
