Mulberry Woman Wanted In Hillsborough County Apprehended By Polk County Deputies

A 35-year-old Mulberry woman wanted on outstanding warrants in two counties was apprehended on Tuesday, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

On August 25, 2026, deputies apprehended Amber Alexis Watson-Restrepo at a home on Sabel Lane in Mulberry. The agency claimed that Watson-Restrepo was arrested without incident and put into the sheriff’s processing center.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Hillsborough County authorities contacted them earlier in the day to request assistance in locating Watson-Restrepo. At the time, Hillsborough County had current warrants for her arrest on counts of aggravated violence with a deadly weapon and failure to appear for driving without a license.

During the inquiry, deputies determined that Watson-Restrepo also had current warrants in Polk County. Her local charges included failing to show for weekend work release due to giving a false name to local police, as well as failure to appear for driving without a motor vehicle registration.

Watson-Restrepo’s prior criminal history includes grand theft, uttering forged instruments, aggravated assault, giving law enforcement a fake name, criminal traffic infractions, and possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
