A man’s body was discovered in Summit Lake Friday evening, prompting an investigation.
According to a Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office report, the body was discovered by a man fishing from a dock around 5:10 p.m. on Friday, September 4.
First responders were dispatched to the area and removed the body from the water.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Raheem Heard, 24, of Akron, on Sunday.
The incident is still under investigation.
