A man died days after a crash earlier this month on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
According to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department investigation, the incident happened around 10:10 p.m. on September 8 near the intersection of Lafayette Road and Kissel Road. According to an update from IMPD, the crash involved two vehicles.
When cops arrived, they discovered that two people were involved in the crash. The Marion County Coroner’s Office named one of the victims as Kenneth Stout, 74, who was declared dead. According to the office, Stout died at a local hospital on Sunday.
The second victim involved in the accident, identified as a man, was said to be awake and breathing at the time.
The IMPD fatal collision investigation team is conducting an investigation into the crash.
