The Pennsylvania Attorney General announced charges against 12 men on Monday, following a lengthy investigation into a multimillion-dollar high-potency THC product trafficking organization.
The ring would traffic marijuana and other high-level THC items from warehouses to convenience stores and smoke shops around the Commonwealth, according to a press statement from Attorney General Dave Sunday’s office.
Agents seized 150,000 products during raids on three key distribution warehouses in Plum Boro, Allegheny County; Jenkins Township, Luzerne County; and Bensalem, Bucks County, according to the announcement.
28/22 News I-Team reporter Andy Mehalshick was present at the warehouse on Centerpoint Boulevard in Jenkins Township when it was raided in September 2025, which Luzerne County District Attorney Sam Sanguedolce said was part of the same investigation.
In addition to trafficking, several of the guys have been charged with money laundering. The Attorney General’s office stated that detectives discovered approximately $18.7 million in unlawful revenues disguised using LLC fronts.
“This criminal enterprise took deliberate steps to distribute these illegal narcotics, statewide, then to conceal the millions and millions of dollars they profited from the scheme,” the Attorney General Sunday stated. “Many of the goods confiscated during this investigation were packaged and flavored to entice children. Collaboration with law enforcement partners resulted in the dismantling of this sophisticated network through very significant charges.”
