Eight people are facing charges after investigators say they planned to distribute methamphetamine throughout the Commonwealth for nearly a year.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, a federal grand jury indicted the following individuals on drug trafficking and firearms charges:
- Jason Lozada, 51, of Philadelphia
- Michael Rinaldi, 49, of Philadelphia
- Ryan Kehoe, 49, of Wilkes-Barre
- Michelle Hall, 46, of Wilkes-Barre
- William Miller, 43, of Forty-Fort,
- Dylan Mohr, 29, of Benton
- Keith Sassaman, 48, of Shavertown
- Melissa Butler, 49, of Wilkes-Barre
According to US Attorney Brian D. Miller, the eight suspects plotted to sell drugs, including methamphetamine, between August 2025 and September 2026.
The suspects are also suspected of supplying methamphetamine and fentanyl on several occasions, as well as multiple gun counts.
In July, Michael Rinaldi was sentenced to 235 months in prison after being convicted of federal drug trafficking crimes.
If convicted, the maximum penalty for the drug charges charged is 20 years, while the potential penalty for firearm violations ranges from 15 years to life imprisonment.
