Three teenagers were charged in connection with an alleged armed carjacking in Buffalo on Saturday morning.
A 14-year-old male, a 16-year-old female, and a 17-year-old male have each been charged with one count of second-degree robbery.
According to the Buffalo Police Department, soon after 2 a.m., officers responded to a robbery call in the 200 block of Willet Street.
The victim was allegedly robbed at gunpoint before the suspects fled the area in the victim’s car.
The vehicle was noticed shortly after and fled west on Abbott Road and South Park Avenue and then north on Van Rensselaer Street.
According to authorities, the vehicle came to a stop on Perry Street, and the four passengers escaped on foot. Three of the occupants were detained, while the fourth suspect has yet to be located.
