A Pennsylvania teen was taken into custody after allegedly stabbing a former co‑worker.

Delvin Dobbins, 19, is now confined at the Allegheny County Jail without bond. Police arrested him on Sunday and charged him with attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault. A criminal complaint obtained by TribLive says witnesses saw Dobbins grappling with another man near a Pittsburgh bus station on Oct. 1. The scuffle intensified, and Dobbins reportedly stabbed the other man several times before fleeing.

Police explained that the two men had worked together at Home Depot until Dobbins was dismissed for allegedly threatening the victim. Their argument reportedly centered on a female co‑worker.

According to the complaint, Dobbins threatened to “fold” his former co‑worker “like an armadillo.”

Officers located Dobbins at a Wendy’s restaurant and took him into custody on Sunday.

WTAE, the local ABC affiliate, noted that Dobbins was out on bond at the time of his arrest because he had been detained a week earlier for a separate stabbing. That earlier incident occurred on Sept. 23, when police found Dobbins wandering with a blood‑stained knife. He faced an aggravated‑assault charge and was released on non‑monetary bail. WPXI, the NBC affiliate, reported that Dobbins was released from jail the same day as the Oct. 1 incident.

On Sept. 4, Dobbins allegedly broke into his former foster parent’s home, despite a restraining order. He was released on non‑monetary bail after being charged with criminal trespassing.

The same criminal complaint, also obtained by WTAE, referenced both prior incidents and warned that Dobbins “poses a safety risk to the victim and the community.”

WPXI reported that Dobbins was first arrested in 2024 for a burglary when he was 16. Because the juvenile detention center was closed, officials released him. Two months later, he allegedly shot a convenience‑store clerk in the chest while the clerk was taking out the trash. TribLive noted that he was initially held without bond, though online court records show no final disposition.

Dobbins is slated to appear in court on Oct. 15.
