A Palm Coast woman wanted on an out-of-county warrant was apprehended Saturday evening, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, deputies arrived at a property on Coral Reef Court to serve the warrant. They discovered 37-year-old Svetlana Kryzhanovskaya at the address and arrested her without incident.
According to officials, Kryzhanovskaya had an active felony arrest warrant out of Orange County for violating her probation. The original crime associated with the probation was possession of cocaine.
Kryzhanovskaya has a lengthy criminal record in Flagler County, with law enforcement arresting her 15 times since 2018. Those earlier arrests involved a number of drug-related offenses as well as charges of persistent traffic offender.
“This woman has been given numerous chances to turn her life around and get off drugs, but unfortunately she refuses to put in the work to change her life and keeps violating her probation,” Sheriff Rick Staly stated. “She clearly needs in-custody treatment, either in a treatment facility or a jail.”
Following her arrest, deputies transported Kryzhanovskaya to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility. She has now been released on a $5,000 bond.
