The Philadelphia Police Department has issued an alert for Giselle Badillo, a missing teenager, and is asking for public help to find her whereabouts.

Giselle, 17, was last seen on Thursday at roughly 12:27 p.m. on the 47XX block of Worth Street, according to the Philadelphia Police Department’s news blotter.

Giselle is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brilliant red hair.

She is recognizable by her nose piercing and her figure.

Her latest sighting included a neon green sports bra and red/black plaid leggings, and she may be planning a trip to Washington, D.C. Anyone with information about Giselle and her distinctive hair color is encouraged to come forward.

Officials have not specified whether they believe foul play is involved, but they underline that recovering the missing child is a top priority. The circumstances of the case are scarce, but the Philadelphia Police Department urges anybody who has seen or knows anything about the girl with the unusual red hair to contact Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153.
