Two men were discovered dead in a South Side street early Sunday morning, Chicago police said.
Officers responded to an emergency medical services call around 1:15 a.m. on the 11700 block of South Marshfield Avenue in the Morgan Park area.
Police reported finding two unresponsive men lying in the street.
Both individuals were pronounced dead at the site. It wasn’t immediately clear how they perished.
According to police, one of the victims was 30 years old, and the other man’s age was unknown. Their identities were not immediately disclosed.
According to investigators, the victims’ bodies showed no signs of trauma at the scene. The CPD characterized the incident as a death investigation.
Area Two detectives are conducting an investigation. Additional information was not immediately available.
