On Monday, Del City police officers stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at SE 44th Street and S. Bryant Avenue.
Officers stopped the driver and searched the vehicle. Officers discovered digital scales, drug paraphernalia, and a considerable amount of methamphetamine and marijuana inside the automobile.
The driver was revealed to be a convicted felon with a firearm.
Officers in Del City charged the driver with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of a handgun following a criminal conviction.
