Four men were shot early Wednesday morning on Chicago’s South Side, one of them died, according to Chicago police.
The males were outside in the 7000-block of South Halsted Street in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood shortly after midnight when two unknown male suspects approached them and opened fire, according to police.
One man was shot in the head and pronounced deceased at the scene, according to CPD.
A 27-year-old man was shot in the leg and was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.
A 38-year-old man suffered a graze wound to his arm and was transported to UChicago in good condition.
A 33-year-old male also had a graze wound on his arm and rejected medical assistance.
A video of the scene shows a significant police response in the parking lot of a convenience store.
There is no one in custody, and Area One detectives are investigating.
