During Monday’s Chats with Chief, Hopkinsville Police Chief Jason Newby announced that 16-year-old Kimera Trea, who had been missing since early December, had been found in New York.
Trea and Amanda Henderson, 16, were last seen on a security camera on December 5, 2025, leaving Henderson’s residence on foot. Trea was found safe in New York about 4:30 a.m. on Monday, according to Newby. The department is currently investigating how she went to New York.
Newby says they are still looking for Henderson. Anyone with information should contact the Hopkinsville Police Emergency Communication Center at 270-890-1300.
