A 26-year-old Portland man is facing 385 charges after police allege he used hidden cameras to record several children and adults in private spaces.
According to Portland Police, Fonte T. Gladen, 26, was arrested at 9 a.m. on Friday in connection with a child sexual exploitation investigation.
Gladen is accused of utilizing hidden cameras in power adapters for cell phones and external batteries to take photos and videos of victims in their beds and baths.
According to investigators, Gladen knew all of the six youngsters and five adults depicted in the tapes. Police do not believe there are any further victims in this instance.
According to PPB, investigators discovered more child sexual abuse material and evidence that the material was acquired and spread via online platforms on a personal phone.
Gladen faces 385 felony charges:
- Using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct (86 counts)
- First-degree invasion of personal privacy (93 counts)
- First-degree encouraging child sexual abuse (86 counts)
- Second-degree encouraging child sexual abuse (112 counts)
- Computer crime (eight counts)
