A man was recently apprehended in connection with a shooting that injured another man this past Sunday, Feb. 1, in Central El Paso, according to El Paso Police.
Cesar Vite Pineda is charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after officers discovered a 58-year-old man with gunshot wounds in the 2500 block of Morehead on Sunday.
Pineda was placed into the El Paso County Detention Facility with a total bond of $150,000.
EPPD’s body camera footage shows officers responding to the incident and their SWAT squad in the area.
El Paso Fire Department crews were also observed in the vicinity, including the Fire-STAR helicopter.
No other information has been shared.
