Two women and a dog are dead after a car crash near Chandler last week.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash near Alma School and Riggs roads on February 15, shortly after 12:30 p.m.
Deputies reported that they rushed two adults, both women, to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office later verified that Judith Buehler, 85, and Patricia Doehring, 78, died from their injuries.
Deputies reported that a dog inside one of the vehicles also died.
The sheriff’s office said the other car’s driver was unhurt, and the two passengers are in the hospital but will recover.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
