2 Juveniles Missing After Running Away From Mall In Ohio

Two juveniles are missing after police claim they ran away from their guardian at Franklin Park Mall on Tuesday evening.

According to Toledo police, officers were summoned to the mall just after 7 p.m. following a complaint that two foster children had fled on foot near the Burlington Coat Factory inside.

Police said 7-year-old Jamir Johnson and 14-year-old Jion Nappner abandoned their guardian and were last seen moving farther into the mall.

Officers searched the mall and surrounding shops with the assistance of mall security, reviewing surveillance footage as part of the investigation. Police also checked the children’s former addresses but were unable to find them.

Jamir Johnson is listed as standing 4 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 122 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red-and-black coat, black trousers, and orange tennis shoes.

Jion Nappner is characterized as standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 114 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, a black bubble coat with red stripes down the arms, black leggings, and gray tennis shoes. Police report that he also has a scar on the right side of his face.
