Two women are facing charges for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of products from local drugstores.
According to court records, the Hendersonville Police Department responded on Monday, March 2, after a license plate reader detected a car allegedly involved in a November 2025 shoplifting incident involving two Black girls at the CVS pharmacy on Glen Oak Boulevard. Police pulled over the vehicle after noticing two Black females inside.
The driver, Dyquaysha Ariana Brown, 27, of Richmond, Texas, was allegedly found with a larceny warrant from Florida. Kathleen N. Brown, 25, of Clarksville, apparently identified herself as one of two subjects in a video of the alleged November incident.
Police requested and gained permission to search the vehicle, where they allegedly discovered 12 garbage bags filled with hair and beauty goods, the majority of which had CVS stickers and were unopened. Kathleen Brown reportedly claimed the things belonged to her sister, the registered owner of the vehicle, and that she worked at Walgreens. Dyquaysha Brown allegedly claimed she had no idea where the merchandise came from. Neither was apparently able to provide receipts for the merchandise.
Using the FLOCK camera system, authorities reportedly discovered that the vehicle had traveled between Texas, Tennessee, and Indiana since early February. Officers utilized eight shopping carts to transport the products into the business, where the items’ total value was determined to be $50,046.53.
Dyquaysha Brown and Kathleen Brown were arrested and charged with organized retail crime and theft of property ranging from $10,000 to $60,000. Kathleen Brown was also charged with shoplifting under $1,000.
Both ladies were put into Sumner County Jail, with Dyquaysha Brown’s bond set at $70,000 and Kathleen Brown’s at $55,000. They are set to appear in general sessions court on March 18.
