A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing late Tuesday night in Pueblo.
According to the Pueblo Police Department (PPD), police responded to a stabbing report around 10:10 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Abriendo Avenue, just north of West Northern Avenue.
Police discovered a stab victim on the scene. According to PPD, the victim was brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to PPD, the suspect had fled the location by the time officers arrived.
After getting a description of the suspect, police claimed they discovered 31-year-old Jeremiah Ferguson hiding behind a nearby tree.
According to officers, Ferguson was found with a knife and blood smears on his hands and arms.
Ferguson was lodged into the Pueblo County Detention Center for first-degree assault.
