Man Apprehended After Refusing To Leave Augusta National Golf Club Property

Matthew Stroud, 36, of Easley, South Carolina, was arrested on Monday, April 6th, for one count of trespassing after being asked to leave Augusta National Golf Club property.

A citation filed against Stroud states that he “refused to leave Masters’ property even after being told to leave multiple times by GBI agents.”

He was apprehended at 2600 Washington Road, near the Magnolia Lane entrance to the Augusta National Golf Club.

He was booked into the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.
