Man shot and killed in Louisville’s Algonquin neighborhood, police say

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A man has died following a shooting in Louisville’s Algonquin neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police said the shooting occurred around 11 p.m. in the 900 block of Algonquin Parkway.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said all parties involved have been accounted for and are currently being questioned.

LMPD’s Homicide Unit has been notified and is leading the investigation.
