A Missouri Lottery win is turning into a major life moment for one Hazelwood couple. A man’s dream of becoming a homeowner will now come true after winning the $274,000 Show Me Cash prize in the March 14 lottery.
The man told the Missouri Lottery that he discovered the jackpot while scrolling through his phone. “I was checking the winning numbers after the drawing and couldn’t believe I had all five,” he replied. The winning ticket was purchased from 66 Gas Mart at 6025 Howdershell Road. “I have to say, I was a little disappointed when I found out I didn’t win the whole thing,” he said. “But $274,000 is pretty good.”
The winning numbers for the drawing were 23, 34, 36, 37, and 39.
It was one of the two jackpot tickets sold that evening. The other was sold in Maryville, thus the $548,000 prize was divided equally.
Show Me Cash is an in-state draw game that takes place daily at 8:59 p.m.
