3 people arrested after love triangle sparks shootout at NE Houston gas station

Three people have been arrested after a love triangle led into a shooting in northeast Houston on Wednesday night.

Around 11:00 p.m., Houston police responded to reports of an argument at the 59 and Tidwell gas station.

Officers said that when they arrived, they discovered two males and a lady arguing. Officers later discovered that one of the males was the woman’s ex-boyfriend, while the other was her current boyfriend.

According to the officer, the fight escalated and both males pulled out firearms and shot at each other. Fortunately, no one was harmed in the incident, but both men and a woman were held.

Officers reported finding firearms and drugs while searching the suspects’ vehicles. It is unclear what accusations the three will face.
